I hate raining day

It is continually raining for several days in Taipei. It makes me become lazy to go out. Because I hate to wet my pants and take a crowded bus with a water-dropping umbrella. When will the rain stop and give me a sunny day?

How to make Chinese traditional food for Dragon Boat festival

Three of the most important festivals in Taiwan are Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival. Dragon Boat festival is May 5th of lunar calendar. This Wednesday is May 5th so we make traditional food to celebrate this special day. The food's names is "粽子" which is made of rice and a lot of material what you want inside, for example pork, mushroom, dry small shrimp and so on...

Today I am going to introduce how to make 粽子. I show the process step by step and I wish you can get a basic concept from these pictures.

We use these leaves to wrap food. Before using them, washing them completely.

Reshape leaves like this so that we can put material in.
Put some rice in the bottom.
Put delicious material in the middle.
Our materials are pork, dry shrimp, chestnut, some vegetable and mushroom.
Put more rice on the top.

Use the leaves to make a cover.

Wrapping completely, and don't make any leak.

Make the shape like a triangle. (I am trying to make a triangle, but I know, I need more practice.) Tie it with a string.

It is done. Did you see, we got four bunch of 粽子

Ready to eat.

觀後感 - 왕의남자 (The King and the Clown,王的男人)

The news said that in average 4 Korean people, there is one person has seen this movie.Wa...It means 25%, pretty high. Therefore, we decided to see such a famous movie in the theather. It was my first time to enter a cinema in Taiwan after coming back from Canada.

Originally, I thought it would be a guy store like "Brokeback Mountain" which is directed by a Taiwanese famous director. After watching, I admitted it was pretty touching and my tear wetted only A PIECE OF TISSUE.

A group of high school students who were sitting behind me were also crying and much more exaggerated. I can't believe what I saw when the movie finished and the lights on. They just cried and made noise as if there is no one there. I found they are much weaker than me. 하하하

The love which is decribed in this movie is very implicit. The director used metaphorical ways to express emotion and sentiment so I don't feel it is a guy store.

At the ending part of the movie is the most touching part to me.

"What do you want to be in the next life?" 孔吉 asked 長生,
"Clown". answered 長生.
Then 長生 asked back 孔吉 the same question again.
"Clown". answered 孔吉 without any hesitation.

Because clowns are the lowest people at that society and they are almost poor. For the incredible sentiment, they would like to be clown again. I believe that kind of emotion must be much more than "LOVE".

Happy Mother's Day

The second Sunday of May is Mother's day. We celebrated this special day to two mothers in my family. One is my mother, and the other one is my forth sister.

The baby is the princess in my family. Everyone loves her dearly.

Seeking for a job

Seeking for a job is a kind of lesson what I have learned this time.

I am seeking for a full time job. I started to send my resume to the companies what I want at the beginning of April. After 2~3 weeks,surprisely, there is no one answer me and invite me to interview. I was so shock and bruised. Because I have master degree and had work experience in big company, it should be not difficult to get a job. The result let me down and lose my self-confidence for a while. Then I calmed down and reviewed everything that happened in the past few weeks. I got some conclusions:

1. My work experience in previous company is related adminitrative management although I stayed in Marketing department. However, most of the positions I apply are about marketing and big companies. Less and less companies would like to train employees without sufficient related background. Therefore, people don't have related work experience like me will not their first choose.

2. The companies prefer to find out the candidates in the job-match website than the candidates mail the resume to them spontaneously. I don't know what the reasons are. Maybe it is because the companies need to pay to job-matcher, therefore they would like to use the cost-needed resources.

3. Big companies not necessary guarantee a potential development and provide attrative remuneration.

According the above key points, I change the strategy to meet what the new job market's need.

1. Review my resume. Revised the sentenses and emphasis on my advatages.
2. Open my resume to the public so all the companies can search my resume and invite me to interview if I possibly meet their need.
3. Then I got more initiative to choose what I want. And I also found some nice companies that I will never know if I search by myself.

After changing, the result was I got a busy week to interview. Now a new problem comes to me. "Which company I should choose?"

A tough, challenge and busy job with high saraly? Or a regular, interesting, with common saraly?

I need more intelligence.
